What you will do

• Design and review OT network architectures including EtherNet/IP, VLAN segmentation, and zone-based design.
• Validate network designs for resilience and determinism, eliminating single points of failure using PRP, DLR, or equivalent topologies.
• Review vendor and integrator network designs, switch configurations, and cabinet layouts for compliance with standards.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity teams to implement OT network segmentation, remote access controls, and firewall policies.
• Participate in FAT, SAT, commissioning, and failover testing for OT network infrastructure.
• Maintain detailed network documentation including topology diagrams, VLAN/IP plans, and turnover records.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience supporting industrial or OT networks in manufacturing, utilities, or mission-critical environments.
• Strong understanding of EtherNet/IP, managed switches, VLANs, and routing/switching fundamentals.
• Experience supporting PLC and SCADA environments and understanding their performance impacts.
• Familiarity with OT cybersecurity practices such as segmentation and access control.
• Must be based in the US

Nice to have

• Experience with PRP, DLR, or similar industrial redundancy protocols.
• Experience supporting data center BMS, EPMS, or other critical infrastructure OT networks.
• Hands-on familiarity with Cisco Industrial, Stratix, or Hirschmann platforms.
• CCNA or other industrial networking certifications.
