What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain Java applications and services for network management and data transport.
• Manage the full software development lifecycle from requirements and design to deployment and maintenance.
• Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure high software quality.
• Troubleshoot software defects and perform code reviews.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and engineering teams.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, and documentation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java (11/17/21).
• Experience with REST APIs, distributed applications, Git, and JUnit.
• Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD practices.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electronics, or a related field.
• Good written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of microservices, cloud-native technologies, and event-driven architectures.
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking and network management technologies.
• Proficiency in Python or Bash scripting.
• Experience in telecommunications, optical networking (DWDM, OTN), or standardization projects.
• Familiarity with YANG, NETCONF, RESTCONF, and TAPI.
