What you will do

• Review patient medical records and telehealth encounter notes for coding accuracy.
• Assign appropriate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes for TCM services.
• Ensure compliance with CMS regulations and documentation standards.
• Collaborate with providers to clarify documentation deficiencies.
• Submit clean claims and resolve coding-related denials.
• Perform regular coding audits to maintain regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Must hold a valid CPC, CCS, or COC certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional medical coding experience.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS Level II systems.
• Thorough understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer regulations.
• Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and practice management software.
• Must be available to work Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Central Time.

Nice to have

• Experience with Chronic Care Management (CCM) and Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM).
• Familiarity with value-based care models and quality reporting.
• Associate degree in Health Information Management.
