Manager, Policy & Government Relations, APAC (Web3)

hirify.global is a global crypto platform offering spot trading, margin, futures, staking, and OTC services to individual and institutional clients.

What you will do

• Lead the development of hirify.global's policy positions across APAC and contribute to the company-wide strategy.
• Engage with policymakers and regulators in Singapore, the Philippines, Vietnam, South Korea, and other Asian markets.
• Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments across the region and provide internal advice with a global perspective.
• Represent hirify.global externally through work with trade associations and other relevant stakeholders.
• Partner with regulatory, compliance, communications, product, and engineering teams.
• Travel within the region as required.

Requirements

• 5–9 years of hands-on experience in financial services policy and regulation across APAC, gained at regulators or government bodies, in-house roles, political consultancies, or relevant trade associations.
• Existing network in Singapore; a wider regional network is ideally available.
• Understanding of or interest in financial services and digital policy, including regional frameworks for digital assets, payments, and stablecoins.
• Team-oriented, proactive, and entrepreneurial approach, with the ability to embrace a steep learning curve and face headwinds.
• Comfort operating across diverse regulatory cultures and political systems.
• Passion for the crypto industry and interest in hirify.global's offerings and global impact.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of payments, AML, cybersecurity, or other financial services and digital policy frameworks in the region.
• Experience drafting responses to public consultations.
• Exposure to Central Asian, Australian, or Middle Eastern regulatory environments.
• Interest in international politics and the ability to explain it to a diversified audience.
• Exposure to IOSCO, OECD, or FATF and understanding of how international standard-setting work relates to national and regional policies.
• Regional language skills.
