🏢 ABOUT THE COMPANY

We are an international fintech platform operating across crypto and fiat payments, digital assets, and payment infrastructure, with partners in multiple jurisdictions.

🎯 THE ROLE

We seek a hands-on legal professional to take ownership of the company’s legal function, support international growth, and advise on commercial, corporate, and regulatory matters. You will work independently and closely with senior management.

📝 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

🔹 Develop legal strategy and support international operations, corporate structuring, and cross-border activities.

🔹 Draft, review, and negotiate agreements with banks, PSPs, financial institutions, merchants, and technology partners.

🔹 Advise on crypto/fiat payments, digital assets, and payment infrastructure.

🔹 Assess regulatory and licensing requirements, including MiCA/CASP and payment services legislation.

🔹 Support product launches and market entry.

🔹 Assess risks related to high-risk merchants, including iGaming and betting.

🔹 Work with Compliance on AML/CTF, KYC/KYB, sanctions, GDPR, and related obligations.

🔹 Manage disputes, external counsel, and legal risks.

🔹 Partner with senior management and Finance, Product, Operations, and Compliance teams.

✅ REQUIREMENTS

🔹 Experience in international FinTech, Crypto, Payments, PSP, EMI/PI, or digital assets.

🔹 Ability to independently manage a legal function and complex legal matters.

🔹 Strong knowledge of commercial law, international B2B contracts, and negotiations.

🔹 Practical knowledge of financial regulation, licensing, MiCA/CASP, AML/CTF, and sanctions.

🔹 Experience across multiple jurisdictions, cross-border transactions, and international financial partnerships.

🔹 Experience with licensing, regulatory approvals, or market entry.

🔹 Knowledge of high-risk merchants, payment providers, crypto wallets, custody, and fiat settlement.

🔹 Experience with European regulators and building legal processes from scratch.

🔹 Ability to balance legal risks with business objectives.
