General Counsel – Employment Law

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania; hybrid work with in-office attendance 3 days per week

Salary: €4,500–€5,300 gross per month, plus applicable bonus and equity incentives.

What you will do

• Provide employment law advice across Europe and the Middle East, working with local counsel across 23 jurisdictions.
• Monitor legislative and case law developments and advise HR and business stakeholders on their impact.
• Lead or support investigations involving harassment, discrimination, and code of conduct violations.
• Manage employment litigation, arbitration, administrative proceedings, employment tribunals, and labor inspectorate matters.
• Draft and review employment policies, handbooks, and codes of conduct, and advise on employment aspects of corporate transactions.
• Partner with HR and business leaders on AI in employment practices, pay transparency, organizational change, and employment law training.

Requirements

• Attorney licensed to practice in a European Union member state.
• 6–10 years of post-qualified experience in employment law.
• Experience combining private practice and in-house counsel work is preferred.
• Ability to manage complex cross-border legal matters and employment disputes.
• Strong understanding of HR processes, employee relations, and labor relations.
• No previous unspent criminal convictions under the Criminal Code of the Republic of Lithuania, except offences solely related to minor road traffic violations.
