What you will do
- Design and develop Java-based platform services, APIs, and integration layers for business-critical solutions.
- Implement secure identity, authentication, and authorization services leveraging OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.
- Build resilient integrations with distributed external systems using patterns like circuit breakers and outbox mechanisms.
- Optimize data access and caching strategies using Redis, relational databases, and search platforms like Elasticsearch.
- Enhance system observability and reliability through OpenTelemetry instrumentation and monitoring.
- Provide technical leadership through code reviews, mentoring, and architectural discussions.
Requirements
- 4+ years of production experience with Java (21/25), Spring Boot (3/4), and Maven.
- Proven experience designing scalable REST APIs with a focus on idempotency and rate limiting.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and Azure AI Search or Elasticsearch.
- Practical knowledge of Kubernetes (AKS), Azure services, GitOps (Argo CD), and Terraform.
- English: Upper-Intermediate (B2) level required.
- Location: Must be based in Ukraine.
Nice to have
- Experience with identity verification services, OCR, or MRZ.
- Knowledge of face or liveness verification APIs.
- Expertise in JVM performance tuning and load testing.
