Location: Hybrid (Manchester), 3 days per week in office

What you will do

• Review and analyze customer transactions to identify money laundering, fraud, and terrorist financing typologies.
• Investigate mule alerts and flagged transactions across the hirify.global product suite.
• Utilize AI-enabled monitoring tools to assess AI-generated alerts and apply professional judgment for decision-making.
• Prepare detailed investigation reports and maintain accurate records for audit and regulatory reviews.
• Handle inbound and outbound phone and chat interactions with customers regarding suspended accounts.
• Collaborate with the team to improve monitoring tools and controls based on investigative observations.

Requirements

• Experience in financial crime, specifically transaction monitoring within the banking or financial services industry.
• Strong knowledge of UK financial crime regulations, including POCA, MLR, and FCA guidelines.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to support investigations and produce high-quality summaries.
• Proven analytical and investigative skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting and customer interaction.
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule in Manchester and occasional weekend shifts (remote).
