Navigation Production Technician (Navigation Systems)

TL;DR

What you will do

• Manage engineering stores, inventory, and laboratory assets while maintaining high 5S standards.
• Conduct and maintain calibration records for engineering test equipment.
• Perform electronic and mechanical assembly, integration, and testing for prototype and development hardware.
• Execute PCB rework, cable manufacture, and harness development activities.
• Diagnose faults and troubleshoot development hardware and test equipment.
• Develop build records, test documentation, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Requirements

• Foundation Degree, HND, Advanced Apprenticeship, or NVQ Level 4/5 in Electronics, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience providing calibration and maintenance support within a production, engineering, or laboratory environment.
• Experience working with Motion Simulators or other high-precision test equipment.
• Proven experience in electronic and mechanical assembly and fault diagnosis.
• Proficiency in maintaining technical documentation and calibration schedules.
