Director Financial Planning & Analysis - Finance

What you will do

• Lead annual operating plan development and forecasting for the Japan business.
• Analyze revenue, profitability, cash flow, and performance indicators, recommending actions to improve business results.
• Design and monitor financial and operational KPIs and oversee executive reporting and performance reviews.
• Provide financial insights to the CFO, President, senior leadership, and business leaders for strategic and investment decisions.
• Lead and develop the FP&A organization and the Finance team responsible for revenue.
• Collaborate with global and regional Finance teams on finance transformation, continuous improvement, data, and advanced analytics.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in finance or accounting.
• Extensive FP&A leadership experience, including annual planning, forecasting, and performance management.
• Experience analyzing and reporting on revenue, profitability, cash flow, and KPIs.
• Experience partnering with CFOs and senior leadership and managing Finance teams and talent.
• Experience working in a multinational company with global and regional Finance teams.
• Business-level or higher communication skills in both Japanese and English.

Nice to have

• Experience as a Controller, Finance Director, Head of FP&A, or Country Finance Manager.
• Experience supporting a large Japanese entity or business in FP&A, management accounting, or performance management.
• Experience in IT services, technology, consulting, or professional services.
• CPA, CMA, Japanese CPA, MBA, or similar finance and accounting qualification.
• Experience leading finance transformation, change management, or organizational transformation.
