What you will do

• Lead and monitor international R&D projects focusing on slip and alternative raw materials.
• Define project targets, allocate resources, and manage budget and cost planning.
• Coordinate multi-site, cross-plant initiatives to align with the global material strategy.
• Provide hands-on production support and drive digitalization in the raw materials field.
• Manage hazardous substance compliance and coordination within the department.

Requirements

• Degree in Ceramics, Materials Science, Engineering, or a similar technical field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in ceramics R&D or development.
• Business fluency in German and English (written and spoken).
• Strong skills in project management, statistical analysis, and control charts.
• Ability to work effectively with international, cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Practical experience with Design of Experiments (DOE) or data mining.
• Basic knowledge of French or another language.
