What you will do

• Design, code, and test complex modules for z/OS to meet functional requirements.
• Use z/XDC and IPCS to identify and resolve critical software issues.
• Develop and maintain automated tests and perform unit/module testing.
• Participate in design and code reviews to evaluate software performance.
• Mentor junior software engineers and serve as a technical knowledge resource.
• Document program logic and provide content for technical writers.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in IBM Mainframe z/OS development.
• Proficiency in z/OS Assembler (HLASM).
• Experience with REXX, ISPF, and JCL.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills for understanding complex component relationships.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and QA practices.
