What you will do

• Design and develop new features for multi-step peptide synthesis workflows.
• Build and optimize backend services and RESTful APIs for data processing.
• Collaborate with scientists to translate research workflows into scalable technical solutions.
• Ensure data integrity, traceability, and auditability of experimental records.
• Perform testing, debugging, and performance optimization of the platform.
• Support deployment and maintenance activities in cloud environments.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from Prague, Czechia
• Strong proficiency in Java with hands-on experience in Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Solid knowledge of Oracle Database and SQL.
• Experience with backend architecture, microservices design, and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud environments and Docker containerization.
• Proficiency with GitHub and version control workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with scientific, laboratory, or research-related applications.
• Understanding of chemistry or peptide synthesis workflows.
