What you will do

• Design, develop, and improve high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements and devise solution strategies.
• Participate in code reviews, promote a culture of code quality, and facilitate knowledge sharing.
• Stay informed of industry technology trends and contribute to the organization’s technology communities.
• Adhere to secure coding practices and implement effective unit testing.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Java programming, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Proficiency in multi-threading, performance tuning, and designing/implementing microservice architecture.
• Extensive experience with standard development and build tools like GIT and TeamCity, as well as DevOps culture and principles.
• Must be based in Prague for onsite work.
• Demonstrated critical skills in risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, and digital/technology.

Nice to have

• Experience designing and developing REST APIs.
• Knowledge of Kafka, GraphQL, and cloud infrastructure principles.
• Experience with containerisation (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
