Lab Technician (Medtech)

TL;DR

Lab Technician (Medtech): Supporting product development through prototype assembly, testing, and maintenance of engineering equipment with an accent on electronic and mechanical systems. Focus on troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and the execution of detailed test procedures to ensure product reliability.

Location: Onsite in Singapore (Galaxis office), attendance required five days per week

What you will do

• Build, modify, and test prototype mechanical and electronic systems.
• Assemble and troubleshoot prototype units and specialized test equipment.
• Interpret technical documentation, including engineering drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Perform fault isolation and root cause analysis to improve product performance.
• Develop and document test procedures and maintain accurate records of findings.
• Operate laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes and signal generators.

Requirements

• Diploma or Higher NITEC in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in engineering, technical support, or manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with testing and fault diagnosis of electronic or mechanical systems.
• Ability to interpret schematics and use laboratory test equipment.
• Must be based in Singapore and work onsite daily at the Galaxis office.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Experience in R&D or the medical technology industry.
• Knowledge of design verification testing and quality systems.
