What you will do

• Design and develop manufacturing process workflows for ultra-clean product assembly.
• Industrialize and transfer new manufacturing processes for optical fiber assemblies.
• Optimize assembly procedures to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-efficiency.
• Create detailed engineering drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and assembly instructions.
• Conduct tolerance stack-up and GD&T analyses to ensure product manufacturability.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure successful product development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in mechanical or manufacturing engineering within semiconductor, photonics, or optics industries.
• Proven experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) and process transfer.
• Proficiency in GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis, and 2D/3D CAD software.
• Experience managing BOMs, routing, and technical documentation in ERP/PLM systems.
• Must be based in Singapore.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of contamination control and cleanroom manufacturing practices.
• Ability to translate technical documents from German to English.
