Location: Hybrid (Must be based in the US, reporting to assigned office at least 3 days per week)

Salary: $149,000–$214,000 USD

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end R&I scale-up execution for innovation and renovation projects to ensure solutions are scalable, safe, and regulatory compliant.
• Drive first-time-right execution through early technical risk assessment and design-to-scale thinking.
• Provide technical leadership in packaging development, materials science, and sustainability to optimize line performance.
• Oversee manufacturing readiness through technical assessments, plant trial plans, and post-launch stabilization.
• Establish scale-up standards, governance routines, and validation expectations to improve commercialization predictability.
• Lead and coach a high-performing team of Scientists and Engineers to build technical depth and accountability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, Food Science, or Materials Science (MS/PhD preferred).
• 10-15+ years of experience in packaging, product development, or process engineering within the food, beverage, or CPG industries.
• Proven experience leading complex cross-functional technical programs involving R&I, Operations, and Supply Chain.
• Deep technical expertise in packaging materials, functionality, validation, and manufacturability.
• Ability to travel 20-30% to manufacturing sites and suppliers.
• Strong business acumen and ability to influence senior stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
