What you will do

• Maintain and drive reliability improvements for eBeam demo lab Scanning Electron Microscope systems.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and debug complex optical, electrical, and mechanical hardware and software.
• Design test plans, collect and analyze data, and publish recommendations for current and next-generation products.
• Coordinate with Design, Engineering, and Applications teams to resolve technical issues and acquire plans of action.
• Develop and optimize preventative maintenance schedules and participate in the integration of Alpha/Beta systems.
• Generate technical documentation, troubleshooting processes, and post-mortem reports.

Requirements

• Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.
• Experience with Electron Microscopy (SEM/TEM), X-Ray characterization (XRD/EDX), or Optical Microscopy.
• Hands-on experience operating equipment that uses vacuum technology.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Milpitas, CA.
