What you will do

• Own the strategy, design, and operation of enterprise infrastructure including cloud environments, networks, and data centers.
• Oversee database administration, performance tuning, and lifecycle management to ensure high availability.
• Manage the full lifecycle of end-user hardware and software to ensure consistency and compliance.
• Lead the IT service desk, defining SLAs and implementing ITSM best practices.
• Develop and manage the IT operations budget, vendor relationships, and contracts.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing IT operations organization.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive IT experience, with 5+ years in senior IT operations leadership.
• Deep expertise in cloud (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP), networking, virtualization, and enterprise systems.
• Strong experience with ITSM frameworks such as ITIL.
• Proven track record in building teams, managing budgets, and leading vendor relationships at scale.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at the executive level.

Nice to have

• Experience in a high-growth, multi-site, or global organization.
• Master's degree or MBA.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP or cloud architect certifications.
• Experience supporting a technology- or transportation-focused business.
