Mfg. Cyber Security Execution Manager (Manufacturing Cybersecurity): Leading cybersecurity control deployments, network refreshes, and risk-reduction initiatives across manufacturing sites with an accent on operational technology, plant resilience, and production-safe execution. Focus on coordinating live industrial deployments, resolving cross-functional risks, and building and developing a team of cybersecurity execution engineers.
Location: Warren, Michigan, United States; hybrid attendance required at least 3 times a week. Willingness to work on-site at manufacturing locations and occasionally during off-shifts or weekends is required. Relocation benefits may be available.

What you will do
- Lead cybersecurity control deployments, plant network refreshes, and risk-reduction initiatives across manufacturing sites.
- Plan and sequence technical work with plant leadership, Manufacturing Engineering, plant IT, and Security Operations around production, safety, and quality requirements.
- Deploy and validate security tooling and controls to improve plant-level visibility, monitoring, and resilience.
- Set priorities, manage schedules, and resolve cross-functional issues during deployments in live manufacturing environments.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of cybersecurity execution engineers, including performance management and career development.
- Provide plant-floor feedback to cybersecurity development teams and validate solutions for real-world deployment and sustainment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or 15 years of relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience executing cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, or network deployment projects, preferably in industrial, manufacturing, or OT environments.
- Working knowledge of cybersecurity controls, network architecture and refresh activities, and security monitoring concepts.
- Direct people leadership experience, including setting priorities, managing performance, coaching, and developing talent.
- Ability to coordinate technical work across multiple stakeholders and competing priorities in production-driven environments.
- GM does not provide immigration-related sponsorship; existing U.S. work authorization is required.
Nice to have
- Manufacturing or plant-environment experience with knowledge of safety, quality, and production constraints.
- Familiarity with operational technology and industrial control systems security.
- Experience deploying or refreshing plant networks and integrating security controls into operational environments.
- Knowledge of NIST or IEC 62443 frameworks and standards.
- Security+, GICSP, CISSP, or equivalent certification.
