Technical Principal (Cybersecurity)

Location: Irving, Texas, United States (Hybrid); four days per week in the office

What you will do

• Influence projects and strategic initiatives through technical expertise.
• Advise department and business leaders as a trusted subject matter expert.
• Drive technical thought leadership, process improvement, and adoption of new methodologies.
• Translate business vision and strategy into fit-for-purpose solutions while balancing risk and investment needs.
• Build cross-functional relationships and foster communication, trust, inclusion, and collaboration.
• Anticipate problems and drive solutions across teams in assigned oversight areas.

Requirements

• More than 10 years of experience in a related function.
• Three to five years of leading through mentorship and three to five years of leading projects and initiatives through influence.
• Recognized subject matter expertise in a relevant specialty and strong business acumen.
• Experience with relationship management, stakeholder influence, leadership, collaboration, and strategic decision-making.
• Related certifications and/or licenses are required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or high school equivalent plus two additional years of related experience is also accepted.

• Membership in and recommendation by an accredited association in the related field.
