Salary: $138,000 - $200,100

What you will do

• Translate domain concepts and Critical Data Elements (CDEs) into conceptual and logical models by partnering with product owners.
• Implement physical data models on Snowflake using star/snowflake, Data Vault, and 3NF structures.
• Optimize Snowflake performance through micro-partitioning, materialized views, search optimization, and clustering.
• Define and maintain data product contracts, including schemas, SLAs/SLOs, versioning, and change policies.
• Embed governance-by-design by classifying PII in models and enabling tag-based masking and row-access policies.
• Mentor junior data modelers and publish modeling standards to meet BI latency targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in data modeling and warehouse design at scale.
• Hands-on Snowflake expertise and knowledge of performance patterns (materialized views, clustering).
• Experience designing data contracts and integrating models with glossary and lineage processes.
• Proficiency with SQL, dbt (model-as-code), Git-based CI/CD, and data catalog platforms.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Nice to have

• Experience mapping business architecture to semantic models for BI.
• Exposure to data fabric concepts and automated metadata tagging.
• Certifications such as Snowflake SnowPro, dbt certification, or CDMP/DCAM familiarity.
