What you will do

• Design and architect robust data solutions utilizing SQL and Python.
• Implement and manage streaming and Big Data pipelines using Kafka or Kinesis.
• Develop scalable ETL/ELT processes on platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, Spark, or Airflow.
• Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform and CI/CD tools within AWS environments.
• Apply data modeling methodologies including Kimball, Inmon, and Data Vault.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience as a Data Engineer and Data Architect.
• Must be based in Portugal.
• Expertise in SQL, Python, and AWS cloud environments.
• Proficiency in Big Data streaming tools (Kafka/Kinesis) and open-source platforms.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling (Kimball, Inmon, Data Vault).

Nice to have

• Experience with Data Governance.
• Knowledge of Medallion Architecture.
