What you will do

• Own the maintenance and development of IFRS 9 provisioning models to ensure accuracy and governance.
• Support data requests, scenario analysis, and strategic decisions for finance and capital markets teams.
• Translate complex financial outputs into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with credit risk, capital markets, and finance teams.
• Ensure provisioning models are aligned with the evolving cards portfolio.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in financial reporting or credit risk modelling within financial services.
• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining IFRS 9 models (PD, LGD, EAD components).
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data extraction and model maintenance.
• Strong understanding of loss provisioning methodology and its impact on P&L and balance sheets.
• Experience in consumer lending or credit card businesses.
• Must be based in London for a hybrid work arrangement.

• Familiarity with securitization structures, investor reporting, or capital markets transactions.
• Demonstrable use of AI to improve professional workflows.
• Experience presenting financial analysis to rating agencies or investors.
• Track record of improving model governance and validation processes.
