Strategy Manager (Retail and Hospitality)

Location: Hybrid working from Sydney, NSW, Australia

What you will do

• Own end-to-end strategic projects across the Group and its business units.
• Support strategic planning and M&A initiatives focused on profitable growth beyond business-as-usual activities.
• Work with senior stakeholders, including executive committee members, to define business challenges and opportunities.
• Apply strategic problem-solving frameworks and innovative thinking to address key business questions.
• Perform complex commercial and financial analysis, extract insights, and develop quantitative models.
• Run stakeholder meetings and workshops while managing projects and workstreams through to delivery.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, private equity, corporate strategy, or a relevant field.
• Experience with strategic problem solving, strategic frameworks, and project management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organisational levels.
• Experience in commercial and financial analytics and quantitative modelling.
• Experience managing projects, transaction processes, or strategic workstreams.
• Ability to perform effectively in a high-performing team environment.

• Consumer market or retail experience.
