What you will do

  • Develop BIM workflow automation using custom coding/scripts and coordinate computational development kickoff meetings.
  • Create BIM data flow diagrams and data visualizations to communicate information transfer across BIM tools and stakeholders.
  • Design and implement BIM data validation processes to verify accuracy and quality of BIM models and databases.
  • Plan and support implementation of ISO 19650 standards and coordinate ISO-related activities with stakeholders.
  • Manage BIM data standards and governance, including asset registers, IFC-based data sharing, and COBie dataset creation/modification.
  • Support BIM-related project coordination and assist with client/architect/contractor communication as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree in a relevant BIM field plus 7 years of progressive BIM experience, or 9 years of BIM experience without a degree (including producing mechanical/electrical drawings for HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, or electrical); BIM certificate may count toward 1 year.
  • Intermediate knowledge of engineering design, A&E industry codes, design guides, and standards; intermediate knowledge of BIM technology and interoperability.
  • Basic proficiency with CMMS, SQL, and JSON; intermediate proficiency with Excel, Python, PowerBI, Assembly Codes, BIM data governance, and IFC.
  • Advanced proficiency with Revit, Dynamo, BIM Interoperability Tools, graphical flow diagrams, Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360, COBie, and Imaginit Clarity.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English; occasional travel may be required (10–15%).
