What you will do

• Provide MEP drafting and design support for new construction, renovation, and facility modification projects at LOD 200, 300, and 350.
• Develop and coordinate site and facility MEP design and construction documents in the BIM model environment (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection), including layouts, equipment plans, piping/ductwork, riser diagrams, schedules, details, and interdisciplinary coordination.
• Initiate and maintain BIM model setup using company Revit templates, including views/sheets and accurate model alignment and documentation.
• Import, convert, optimize, and coordinate non-Autodesk 3D files in Revit; support BIM coordination and clash detection using Revit and/or Navisworks.
• Produce record drawings (as-built documentation) using contractor redlines, RFIs, field verification, and engineer input.
• Lead QA/QC reviews of BIM models and construction documents and mentor junior engineers/drafters on Revit standards and workflows.

Requirements

• US citizenship required for security clearance; must be able to obtain clearance from Defense Security Service and other federal agencies.
• Minimum 6 years of drafting/design experience using Revit and AutoCAD for MEP construction drawing packages.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP and AutoCAD, including BIM model setup, Revit family creation/modification, parameters/schedules, and converting non-native file formats for Revit workflows.
• Strong knowledge of BIM standards/workflows and construction documentation practices, including multidisciplinary coordination.
• Ability to perform QA/QC reviews to ensure compliance with company modeling/drafting standards and client-specific requirements.
• Valid/unrestricted driver’s license; willingness to travel up to 10% for project locations.
