What you will do

• Develop and modify technical deliverables for civil site development under general supervision.
• Use Autodesk Civil 3D and other digital tools to create, update, and maintain engineering drawings, models, and documentation.
• Apply foundational civil engineering principles to produce moderately complex design concepts and solutions.
• Perform design calculations, detailed material quantities, and estimates; record and maintain supporting documentation.
• Apply standards, document control practices, departmental guides, applicable codes, and BV policies to ensure deliverables meet project requirements.
• Coordinate with design group personnel and may support field activities; provide technical guidance to other technicians/professionals as needed.

Requirements

• Typically 5 years of related work experience.
• Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements if selected, which may include criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search.
• Experience producing/modifying civil engineering deliverables using CAD/BIM and 3D modeling tools.
• Working knowledge of applicable codes and standards and ability to ensure deliverables comply with project requirements.
