What you will do
- Design and build modern data solutions for the Retail Analytics Data Hub.
- Develop scalable data pipelines using ELT approaches with Snowflake, ADF, and dbt Cloud.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications, delivery plans, and engineering tasks.
- Lead Kimball-style dimensional modelling and support migration from legacy tooling to Snowflake-centred solutions.
- Work in Scrum teams across BAU and project-based delivery for protection, retirement, annuities, and pensions data.
- Mentor data engineers and improve standards, documentation, quality, governance, and release processes.
Requirements
- Strong experience building and operating data pipelines.
- Good understanding of data modelling and dimensional modelling using Kimball principles.
- Experience with Snowflake, ADF, dbt Cloud, or equivalent technologies.
- Ability to translate business needs into clear technical delivery plans.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
- Clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders, plus experience mentoring or coaching engineers.
