Product Analyst (Fintech): Developing detection logic for Anti-Financial Crime to combat money laundering, fraud, and sanctions evasion with an accent on user behavior analysis and rule optimization. Focus on designing high-precision detection rules, conducting A/B tests to reduce fraud rates, and leveraging AI tools to scale investigations.

Location: Hybrid in Limassol or Almaty, or fully remote outside office locations. Relocation to Cyprus is supported.

Salary: €65,000 – €75,000 per year

What you will do

• Analyze fraud, AML, and behavioral data to identify gaps and optimize detection rules.
• Design and implement detection logic across Fraud, AML, and Sanctions domains.
• Investigate emerging attack typologies and propose mitigation strategies.
• Conduct A/B tests and controlled experiments to balance detection accuracy and customer friction.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams to enhance risk models.
• Utilize AI and LLM-based tools to accelerate investigations and reporting.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Product Analyst.
• Expert-level SQL for complex query writing and optimization.
• Advanced proficiency with data visualization tools.
• Experience integrating AI tools into daily analysis and investigation workflows.
• English: Upper-intermediate level (B2) required.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of applied probability theory and mathematical statistics.
• Proficiency in Python (NumPy, Pandas) for data analytics.
• Previous experience in risk, compliance, or anti-fraud.
