Web Senior Developer (React)

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

hirify.global develops a digital-native insurance platform that supports new distribution models and highly automated, straight-through processing across the insurance value chain.

What you will do

• Build web applications and reusable UI components for the digital insurance platform.
• Translate business requirements into secure, maintainable frontend solutions.
• Integrate web applications with backend services using REST/JSON.
• Write unit and integration tests, troubleshoot defects, and analyze issues.
• Support deployments across environments and contribute to CI/CD processes in AWS.
• Document code and collaborate with other teams on technical integrations.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Professional experience with Next.js or React, state management, and REST/JSON.
• Experience with application security, MVC, and other design patterns.
• Ability to understand business requirements, solve problems, and write secure, reusable code.
• Experience with unit and integration testing and deployment processes.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services or insurance.
• Experience with Jest, Jira, GitHub, or SonarQube.
• Interest in new and emerging technologies, including AI.
