Senior Frontend Software Engineer

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications with React and modern JavaScript.
• Develop reusable component libraries and design systems.
• Contribute to frontend architecture, state management, performance optimization, accessibility, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Own Jenkins CI/CD workflows, manage Bitbucket/Git source control, and track technical work in Jira.
• Evaluate and integrate AI-assisted development tools, including LLM coding assistants, prompt engineering, and agentic workflows.
• Review code, uphold engineering standards, mentor junior engineers, and translate Figma designs into production-ready interfaces.

Requirements

• 5–9 years of professional frontend engineering experience, including 2–4 years building production React applications at scale.
• Strong JavaScript fundamentals, asynchronous programming, React hooks, component composition, state management, and performance optimization.
• Experience with Node.js, REST APIs or BFF layers, HTML5, CSS3, responsive layouts, and CSS-in-JS or utility-first frameworks.
• Experience with Vite or Webpack, micro-frontend architectures, Module Federation, and frontend software design patterns.
• Experience writing unit tests with Vitest, React Testing Library, Mocha, or Chai.
• Working knowledge of Jira, Jenkins, Bitbucket/Git, and practical exposure to AI-assisted development tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with Server-Sent Events or real-time streaming patterns.
• Mentoring or feature-team leadership experience.
• TypeScript, Docker, or Kubernetes experience.
