What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain backend microservices for the Lara API.
• Own features end-to-end from technical design to production deployment.
• Manage MySQL databases and Redis caching layers.
• Integrate external AI and translation services into the core platform.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high standards of code quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver clear technical documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in backend software development.
• Proficiency in Node.js with TypeScript.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases (MySQL).
• Strong understanding of REST API design and server-side architecture.
• Experience with Docker and containerized environments.
• Proficiency in Git and GitHub-based workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS services (ECS, S3, SQS, Lambda).
• Familiarity with Redis, Fastify, or Express.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Test Driven Development.
• Experience with SaaS billing or rate-limiting systems.
