What you will do

• Lead a major part of a strategic government project in the UK, acting as the primary interface between HQ, government bodies, and partners.
• Manage the full project lifecycle, including budget control, financial reporting, and risk mitigation.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with high-level government stakeholders and navigate bureaucratic approval processes.
• Coordinate with international suppliers and local contractors across different time zones.
• Align priorities and resources across internal functions using matrix management and negotiation.
• Oversee technical deliverables by coordinating with IT departments and external suppliers.

Requirements

• Proven track record of managing high-scale, complex projects, preferably within the government sector.
• Demonstrable experience in international corporate environments with a strong understanding of governance and compliance.
• Experience managing significant project budgets and international suppliers.
• Ability to deliver results through matrix management (influencing teams without direct authority).
• Fluency in English (C1+) for detailed reporting and international negotiations.
• Technical literacy sufficient to oversee IT-heavy deliverables.
