What you will do

• Develop and execute tailored spare sourcing strategies aligned with technology and business requirements.
• Define standard and custom product requirements in collaboration with engineering teams and suppliers.
• Negotiate technical and business contract terms to ensure adherence to procurement policies and risk mitigation strategies.
• Drive supplier capability development and align supplier roadmaps to support business growth.
• Implement supplier diversification strategies to improve competitiveness and supply chain resilience.
• Manage disputes with suppliers and internal partners in coordination with finance and legal teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience or Master's degree with 3+ years in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business.
• Professional experience in strategic sourcing, commodity, or supplier management.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing environments and engineering-driven sourcing decisions.
• Proven experience developing and executing commodity strategies.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid model at hirify.global sites in Kulim or Penang, Malaysia.

Nice to have

• Experience in global sourcing and local supplier ecosystem development.
• Knowledge of supply chain risk management and business continuity planning.
