What you will do

• Lead IP Architecture Specification for NOR, PSRAM, and NAND Flash controllers.
• Hands-on design and verification of legacy digital IPs across the MCU/MPU product portfolio.
• Collaborate with global SoC, Systems, and Software teams to ensure IP requirements are met.
• Provide pre-silicon and post-silicon debug and support for SoC issues.
• Generate detailed design documentation, including specifications and programming guides.
• Monitor and integrate industry trends for peripherals such as UFS and NVMe.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience building digital IPs and supporting them across multiple SoC generations.
• Strong knowledge of AHB/AXI bus protocols and microprocessor architecture.
• Expertise in NOR/NAND Flash and ECC algorithms (BCH, Reed-Solomon, LDPC).
• Proficiency in Low Power Design Techniques.
• Must be based in or authorized to work in San Diego, USA.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• 20+ years of experience in digital IC design with a strong project portfolio.
• Expertise in Verilog/SystemVerilog for RTL design and verification.
• Experience with industry-standard EDA tools for synthesis and STA.
