What you will do

• Participate in all aspects of agile software development, including design, implementation, and deployment.
• Develop API-first systems in collaboration with functional SMEs and frontend developers.
• Build server-side components using Java, React, Node.js, and Kafka.
• Ensure application performance, uptime, and scalability while maintaining high code quality and application design.
• Collaborate across time zones via Microsoft Teams, ADO, and GitHub.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US.
• 4-6 years of experience in a related field or a bachelor's degree in computer science or business.
• Deep expertise in cloud-native architecture and SaaS platforms (Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud).
• Experience building large-scale enterprise distributed event-driven applications.
• Proficiency in Java, Node.js, Kafka, and databases.
• Knowledge of React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Nice to have

• Experience in the mortgage or financial services domain (loan servicing, document management).
• Familiarity with security and compliance standards relevant to fintech.
• Experience setting up observability and logging tools/frameworks.
