What you will do

• Develop and apply novel statistical and computational methods for the genetics of complex diseases.
• Design and execute independent research projects while contributing to collaborative efforts.
• Analyze large-scale datasets and develop reproducible computational workflows.
• Create software tools to support genetic research and analysis.
• Interpret and communicate findings through manuscripts, conference presentations, and grant contributions.
• Participate actively in lab meetings and collaborative scientific discussions.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Computer Science/Engineering, Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Genetics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in statistical or scripting languages appropriate for scalable data analysis.
• Experience with programming for biological data analysis.
• Familiarity with genetic and/or genomic data and analysis, as indicated by publication record.
• Ability to communicate scientific material and collaborate effectively in a multi-disciplinary environment.
