What you will do

• Curate variants, genes, and gene-disease correlations following ACMG guidelines.
• Analyze clinical genomics data and select variants for curation or confirmation using HGVS nomenclature.
• Draft clinical reports and summarize scientific findings for medical professionals.
• Assist laboratory directors and R&D teams with the validation of new technologies and software platforms.
• Refine internal processes and monitor test turnaround times to ensure operational efficiency.

Requirements

• PhD or MD in clinical medicine, genetics, molecular biology, or equivalent (Master's degree with relevant experience may be considered).
• Must be based in the United States.
• Experience in bioinformatics analysis, variant effect prediction algorithms, and scripting languages.
• Deep familiarity with ACMG variant curation guidelines and genomic variation.
• Proficiency in reading and writing professional medical language.

Nice to have

• MB(ASCP) certification.
• Expertise in NGS workflows and sequencing data.
• Experience using ClinVar, OMIM, gnomAD, and HGMD.
• Knowledge of CAP/CLIA quality standards.
