Microsystems Integration Intern (Hardware)

TL;DR

Microsystems Integration Intern (Hardware): Designing and testing complex multi-physics devices and microsystems with an accent on hardware assembly and semiconductor electronics. Location: Onsite in Cambridge, MA. Position restricted to U.S. Citizens (dual citizenship not considered).

Salary: $20.00 - $45.00 per hour

What you will do

• Design, develop, and enhance engineering solutions for complex multi-physics devices and microsystems.
• Implement and test hardware components, providing detailed documentation and analysis.
• Generate and present comprehensive test reports including plots, tables, and evaluation criteria.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of engineers and scientists to build and verify system performance.
• Contribute to projects involving MEMS sensors, space systems, and electro-optics.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required; applicants with dual citizenship will not be considered.
• Enrolled in an accredited full-time undergraduate or graduate degree program.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Nice to have

• Experience with computational tools such as SPICE, Comsol, TCAD, Matlab, or MCNP.
• Experience with nuclear engineering and related modeling.
• Interest in developing novel multi-physics devices and systems.
