AI Consultant (Fintech): Leading strategic engagements to help financial institutions transition from AI interest to high-value execution with an accent on board strategy, risk governance, and agent enablement. Focus on bridging the gap between generative AI technologies and real-world financial outcomes through business process discovery and value stream mapping.

Location: Hybrid role requiring at least 1 day per week in one of the following offices: Springfield, MO; Allen, TX; Birmingham, AL; Cedar Falls, IA; Charlotte, NC; Lenexa, KS; or Monett, MO.

What you will do

• Lead business process discovery efforts across functional departments to identify AI intervention opportunities.
• Facilitate value stream mapping and workshops to build consensus on AI-driven solutions.
• Evaluate the feasibility, impact, and ROI of proposed generative AI applications.
• Partner with IT and functional teams to guide the implementation of AI solutions.
• Develop change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new processes.
• Contribute to internal best practices and knowledge sharing regarding AI applications.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the US; no immigration sponsorship provided.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 9 years of experience in consulting, business transformation, or technology advisory.
• Proven experience in technology and financial services.
• Experience presenting to senior leadership, executive stakeholders, and boards.
• Experience building generative AI solutions for business partners.
• Ability to travel up to 25% for business meetings and client engagements.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with NIST AI Risk Management Framework or AI regulatory standards.
• Understanding of core banking platforms and FI operational workflows.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise AI platforms like Microsoft Copilot or Google Gemini.
• Experience partnering with Account Executives to scope consulting proposals.
