Mid-Level Financial Analyst (FP&A)

TL;DR

Mid-Level Financial Analyst (FP&A): Producing and refining financial and operational reports to guide strategic decisions with an accent on budgeting, consolidated forecasting, and variance analysis. Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Longueuil, QC, Canada (Hybrid)

What you will do

• Prepare monthly management, financial, and operational reports.
• Participate in the annual budgeting process and support budget monitoring across business units.
• Contribute to consolidated financial forecasts and performance tracking.
• Maintain and improve financial models and KPI dashboards.
• Conduct variance analyses and explain key discrepancies to stakeholders.
• Present financial results to business unit managers and lead performance review meetings.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or FP&A.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French (spoken and written) is required.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, including financial modeling and advanced functions.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage shifting priorities.
• Ability to work independently and synthesize complex information.

Nice to have

• Experience in a multi-company or multi-currency environment.
• Knowledge of Oracle, OneStream, or Adaptive.
