Salary: $275,000–$325,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage and develop a team of ~5 clinical AI ICs across two product pods.
• Own the clinical AI roadmap, quality, and delivery for assigned pods.
• Perform hands-on IC work including prompting, evaluation design, and error analysis.
• Provide technical and clinical guidance to the team on AI implementation.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to represent the clinical perspective.
• Lead hiring efforts by interviewing and evaluating new candidates.

Requirements

• Physician (MD or DO) who has completed residency and practiced clinically.
• 3-5+ years of experience at a tech company.
• Proven experience managing formal direct reports in a tech environment.
• Technical fluency, including some coding ability and comfort with AI/LLM concepts.
• Must be willing to work from the San Francisco office 3x/week.

Nice to have

• Hands-on LLM product experience (prompting, evaluations, error analysis).
• Previous experience working in a startup environment.
