What you will do

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable search capabilities using C++ or Java.
• Build platform services, APIs, and extensibility mechanisms to enable search across multiple products.
• Integrate and optimize large-scale search technologies to support the product ecosystem.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, and Data Scientists to deliver impactful search solutions.
• Analyze existing services and architect new platform capabilities to improve scalability and performance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience using C++ or Java.
• Experience designing and delivering scalable, high-quality software within a complex platform or product environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate multiple technologies.
• Collaborative mindset, strong ownership, and a continuous desire to learn.

Nice to have

• Experience with large-scale search technologies such as Elasticsearch, OpenSearch, or Vespa.
• Experience building backend services, developer platforms, or product integrations.
• Experience with distributed systems and large-scale cloud-native applications.
• Knowledge of information retrieval, indexing, query execution, vector search, or AI-powered search.
