What you will do

• Coordinate and assign news stories to reporters and producers for timely coverage.
• Monitor newswires and social media to identify emerging story opportunities.
• Collaborate with production teams to develop compelling story angles.
• Organize and facilitate interviews for current and investigative reports.
• Ensure all content adheres to strict editorial standards and accuracy.
• React quickly to breaking news while maintaining high-quality journalism.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of news writing experience.
• Fully fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
• Minimum 1 year of experience with iNews.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• Must be willing to work in Miami, Florida, including weekends, nights, and early mornings.

• Experience creating digital video content in a newsroom.
