What you will do

• Execute the full FinOps lifecycle including informing, optimizing, and operating phases.
• Design and implement tagging, allocation strategies, and cost models across multi-cloud environments.
• Perform root cause analysis for cost anomalies and budget variances.
• Build and maintain showback/chargeback models and dashboards for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineering, finance, and procurement teams using Lean-Agile methodologies.
• Ensure infrastructure changes maintain cost efficiency through forecasting and scenario analysis.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US
• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience or Master's degree with 3+ years of experience in a technical or financial field.
• Strong understanding of cloud cost management and optimization best practices.
• Experience with cloud billing data aggregation and analysis.
• Ability to clearly articulate cost trends and financial goals to technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• FinOps Certified Practitioner (FOCP) certification.
