What you will do

• Own and maintain factory 300mm toolsets, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and copy-exact standards.
• Monitor control charts and tool output daily to prevent excursions and ensure layer matching.
• Lead new technology start-ups, including tool installations, conversions, and qualifications.
• Develop process roadmaps and establish equipment configurations to meet quality and productivity goals.
• Conduct experiments to characterize processes and improve yield, reliability, and stability.
• Train production engineers and support the transfer of processes to other factories.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience, Master's with 2+ years, or PhD with 6+ months in Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering or a related STEM field.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or advanced technology development.
• Experience with process characterization, data analysis, and statistical problem-solving in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of equipment matching, qualification, and copy-exact manufacturing principles.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Phoenix, Arizona.

Nice to have

• Semiconductor Foundry experience.
• Experience with thin film deposition technologies such as CVD, PVD, ALD, PECVD, LPCVD, HDP, or Epitaxy.
• Clean room experience.
• Strong knowledge of statistics and experimental design (DOE).
