Salary: $5,964.75 - $8,573.08 CAD Monthly

What you will do

• Execute strategic communication plans and promotional strategies aligned with the Centre's research priorities.
• Research and produce content including feature stories, press releases, Q&As, and social media posts (LinkedIn, Bluesky, YouTube).
• Manage and maintain the Centre's WordPress website, including news, event pages, and research showcases.
• Coordinate media outreach by pitching to media outlets and liaising with hirify.global Media Relations.
• Develop and execute promotional campaigns for in-person and online events such as public talks, workshops, and conferences.
• Design and draft annual reports and donor-focused materials in collaboration with alumni engagement teams.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of related professional experience.
• Professional experience with at least one CMS (WordPress or Envoke preferred).
• Deep familiarity with social media tools, data analytics, and SEO techniques.
• Basic competence in graphic design and photo/video editing software (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
• Location: Must be based at the hirify.global Vancouver Campus in Canada

Nice to have

• Education in Digital Media, Marketing, Communications, or Journalism.
• Experience working in research, public policy, or inequality-focused environments.
• Knowledge of HTML and web browser standards.
• Experience with audio production for podcast support.
