What you will do

• Lead Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments and Investigations.
• Perform site investigations for contaminated soil, soil vapor, sediment, and groundwater across residential, industrial, and public sites.
• Prepare Remedial Action Workplans, technical reports, specifications, and plans.
• Oversee subcontractors, including drillers, during soil boring advancement and monitoring well installation.
• Manage environmental construction activities and community air monitoring.
• Train and supervise entry-level and junior staff.

Requirements

• BS in Environmental Engineering, Science, Geology, or a related degree.
• 3+ years of environmental consulting experience.
• Experience performing Phase I/II ESAs and multi-media sampling (soil, sediment, vapor, air, groundwater).
• Proficiency in Burmister soil classification and working knowledge of NYSDEC Rules (DER-10, Part 360, Part 375).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record for travel within NYC, Westchester, and Long Island.
• OSHA 40-Hour Training and the ability to wear a respirator.
