What you will do

• Acquire, process, and maintain geospatial and operational datasets supporting DHS mission programs.
• Perform spatial analysis, geoprocessing, and data conversion using ESRI tools (ArcGIS Pro, Online, Enterprise).
• Design, configure, and maintain ArcGIS Dashboards and web maps to present real-time operational context.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment using Jira and Confluence to translate stakeholder needs into technical tasks.
• Conduct quality assurance and quality control checks to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and schema compliance.
• Create and maintain comprehensive database metadata and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Geography, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in GIS, geospatial analysis, or cartography.
• Foundational experience with ESRI technology (ArcGIS Pro, Portal, Online).
• Basic proficiency in Python, SQL, or Arcade for GIS automation.
• Ability to satisfy DHS suitability, background-investigation, and Public Trust Clearance requirements.
• Strong understanding of coordinate systems, projections, and spatial data concepts.
